Protecting your eyes from the sun
If you spend time outdoors in the sunshine then you need to protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) lighT.

A common misconception about sunglasses is that the darker lens, the more protection they offer. This is not true.

Be discerning with polarized glasses which is also helpful in that they “reduce glare which is caused by light reflecting off of a smooth or flat surface.
Wearing sunglasses continuously will make your eyes strain to see properly in poor light and cause headaches. however, Sunglasses are also very important to maintaining optimal health for our eyes. They are great resources for blocking the sun’s ultraviolet radiation so that we do not develop serious eye conditions.
